The building and decoration were inspired by the colours and textures of its setting (the landscape gardening was created using endemic plants from the area). Hotel Sandos San Blas Reserva Ambiental includes, among its many options for leisure and relaxation, a boating lake and a spectacular multimedia centre dedicated to the Nature Reserve from which it takes its name. As well as 331 rooms (50 of which are suites), all with hydromassage baths, there are two restaurants, three bars, eight swimming pools, a sports area, a rockodrome, gym, mini spa and a square for traditional games.
Respect for the environment and commitment to sustainable tourism have been the driving forces behind the creation of this complex. The resort opened its doors in December 2008 and includes in its leisure offer a great variety of activities focused on getting to known the natural and cultural richness of Tenerife, though always with the scientific rigor that has been part of this project from the very beginning.
