Museum located in Tenerife North

The Latin American Craftwork museum is located in La Orotava, in the old convent of  San Benito Abad which was built  in the 17th century. It is run by the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife (Tenerife Island Government). This museum has a permanent exhibition of Latin American and Spanish craftwork stretching back over history originating from important collections that have been given by sponsors, acquired by the Centre or received through private donations.
It has touch-sensitive screens that provide more detailed information for visitors about the museum, the facilities, and all the pieces of craftwork contained in its 6 exhibition rooms.
The Latin American Craftwork Museum is a part of a public information campaign carried out by the Centro de Documentación e Investigación de la Artesanía de España y América (CDIAEA).
