La Bodeguita Canaria is situated in the centre of Santa Cruz, a few metres from the Plaza España. La Bodeguita Canaria , opened since 1999 and as its name suggests, the restaurants speciality is traditional canarian gastronomy which includes some of the most popular and typical dishes such as: ropa vieja (traditional canarian stew) , ribs and potatoes, rabbit in salmorejo ( a traditional canarian sauce), tortilla ( traditional Spanish omelette) and shark which are always accompanied by a large variety of local wines  

La Bodeguita Canaria makes an effort to be innovative and constantly improve itself with new dishes appealing to all palettes with the use of high quality ingredients. It is also known for its welcoming and familiar atmosphere.

La Bodeguita Canaria takes pride in doing things well and as a result of this won the annual gastronomy award presented by the local newspaper the Diario de Avisos
