Tenerife

Several tour companies offer this half-day trip to visit the capital of the island, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which was founded in 1492. This city offers some great shopping as well as the chance to get to know the largest city and the main commercial and administrative centre on the island. The city centre is located near the port and with its many pedestrian areas it is a pleasure to stroll around and see its important landmarks, shops, open-air cafés and restaurants.
