Tram

The tram is a transport system run by the company Metropolitano de Tenerife (MTSA) with the participation of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife (Tenerife's Island Government). This means of transport has been adapted with everyone in mind; there are places for bicycles and prams.
Currently the tram follows Line 1 Santa Cruz-La Laguna, with 21 stops and a journey time of approximately 40 minutes to complete it, and Line 2 from La Cuesta to Tincer.
To enjoy the many advantages of the tram, you just need to buy a ticket or travel pass at any of the ticket machines available at stops or in MTSA offices located at both terminals of the line. Then validate the ticket in the cancelling machines inside the tram carriages.
