Casa de la Viuda

The "Widow's House" stands right in the historic heart of Buenavista and is a fine example of domestic Canarian architecture from the mid 17th century. The house comprises two floors with wooden corridors, simple coffered ceilings, several rooms, a central patio and an old hallway. Outside the house, its hip roof covered with Arabic-style tiles and the exposed stone on its corners are the most noteworthy features. The house is currently used as a cultural, artistic and social activity centre.
