San Juan de Taco Estate

Built by the illustrious Don Juan del Hoyo Calderón, the estate has always played a significant role in Buenavista's history, society and economy, and in the entire region of Daute-Isla Baja. The estate once housed Malvasia vineyards and featured a house, a chapel, a winery, a cellar and an orchard. Its architectural features of note include its L-shaped layout, the stone staircase, the small gargoyles at the end of the drain pipes and the stonework around the windows.
