Protected Landscape

The landscape here combines nature at its purest with man-made structures, including a series of hamlets and terraced farming areas. The whole area is surrounded by rock formations known as "roques": Imoque, Los Brezos…, which when added to the Barranco del Infierno (Hell's Ravine), drape the scene in a magical veil.

Municipalities: Adeje and Vilaflor.

Expanse: 774.8 hectares (1914.6 acres).

How to get there:

You can get here on the TF-567, which starts at La Escalona in the municipality of Arona and ends at the hamlet that this Protected Landscape is named after. The TF-51 from Arona to Vilaflor passes close by various sections of this Protected Landscape, but never quite touches its boundaries.
