The Environmental Education and Consumer Association (ADEAC) decided what beaches are top quality in Tenerife awarding them with Blue flags.
Tenerife Tourist Board and town halls consider keeping the beaches in the best conditions a priority as it’s one of the most demanded by most of the travellers that visit the island for beach holidays, they are precious natural resources we all need to care about.
In order to get the Blue Flag award the beaches have to meet the following chriteria listed here http://www.blueflag.org/ :
