EPC CANARIAS keeps developing

The company is committed to training film professionals

EPC CANARIAS is committed to training professionals, so they take part in courses in which Canarian workers can widen their knowledge and learn to handle the equipment owned by the company.

In Lanzarote different workshops have been held including a Camera Assistant Workshop where the company made available first-class professional equipment and technicians specialised in using them. The workshop was fully booked.

EPC Canarias has also collaborated with the 2018 Steadicam Gold Workshop Tenerife along with other industry companies. The course included renowned instructors like Jerry Holway, Robin Thwaites, Chris Fawcett, Danny Hallett and was supe rvised by steadicam creator Garrett Brown.

The company likes to keep their equipment updated to the demands of every production. They have purchased the new Sony Venice. With its full frame sensor, it can record up to 6k including colour spaces, like S-LOG3, which captures an incredibly dynamic range.

A new zoom has just joined EPC Canarias. The Angenieux Optimo 19.5-94mm with a T2.6 aperture. This zoom is an improved version on the previous Optimo 17-80mm. It is expected to give minimum distortion and breathing as well as a perfect homogeneity, contrasted, quality colour.

EPC provides the means for the equipment to reach the location with a new van which is available for rental. They are committed to constant improvement and training in order to offer the best service to every production.
