Yesterday we said bye\u00a0\u00a0to one of the best cultural festivals<\/strong> that are celebrated in Spain and takes place in the Puerto de La Cruz, Tenerife: MUECA<\/strong><\/p>\n

MUECA<\/strong> was born \u00a0as a festiva<\/strong>l designed to enjoy shows inside\u00a0 a theatre . But \u00a0destiny wanted that the ceiling of the theatre suffered such great \u00a0damages and therefore \u00a0forcing the Organization to move Festival MUECA<\/strong> to the street, getting so it \u00a0became a reason for joining and enjoyed hugh local \u00a0, quite unexpected and extremely positive.<\/p>\n

MUECA, became the Portuenses festival, an event that made them feel \u00a0proud of, that they feel as their own, as a sign of identity and a very important part of their lives.<\/p>\n

Year after year the quality of MUECA \u00a0mantained an upward trajectory and its acceptance crossed international borders, becoming an \u00a0artistic, cultural and, of course, touristial attractive.<\/p>\n

As we know, a festival like MUECA \u00a0costs quite a lot so due \u00a0to budgetary reasons was\u00a0not held for two consecutive years causing a great sadness for residents and interested in culture,that’s why a\u00a0\u00a0platform saw the light and\u00a0\u00a0managed to get MUECA \u00a0back invading the streets of Puerto de la Cruz in 2012. A platform of busineses and social cooperation organized events and provided the necessary budget to celebrate the Festival again.<\/p>\n

The result is described in a word: success. <\/strong><\/p>\n

MUECA 2013<\/strong> has surpassed the previous edition. A Street Festival, a Festival for the whole family, with themed streets:<\/p>\n

  • movement,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    and several scenarios all over Puerto de La Cruz.<\/p>\n

    The overcrowding is unthinkable because \u00a0activities are \u00a0out, and many are repeated, varying \u00a0day, place and hour, in different locations of \u00a0Puerto de la Cruz.<\/p>\n
