Mu<\/b>ch-Anticipated Fifth Installment of <\/b>Bourn<\/i>e <\/i>Franchise Arrives in Theaters in Summer 2016<\/b><\/p>\n

Universal Pictures announced upcoming Santa Cruz street closures to facilitate the lensing of action sequences for the upcoming Untitled Next Bourne Chapter<\/i>. The closures will begin on Monday, September 7, and occur throughout September and will feature large crowds, simulated civil unrest and prop gunfire, smoke, firecrackers and chase sequences.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with the Consorcio de Bomberos de Tenerife, The Policia Local de Santa Cruz have been notified of this permitted filming.<\/p>\n

Street closures and intermittent traffic stoppages will occur in a number of areas in street centers of Santa Cruz including Barrio de La Alegria, Barrio Nuevo and Valleseco; Arona; Taco\u2014La Laguna; Radazul\u2014El Rosario; and Tenerife North Airport.<\/p>\n

Universal is filming in Tenerife with the support of Sur Film Production and the cooperation of the Spain Government Subdelegation of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands Government, Cabildo de Tenerife, City of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, City Hall of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Town Hall of El Rosario, Town Hall of Arona, City Hall of San Cristobal de La Laguna, Tenerife Film Commission, Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Tenerife Tram.<\/p>\n

Global superstar Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role as Jason Bourne in the fifth installment of Universal Pictures\u2019 Bourne <\/i>franchise. Acclaimed director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy<\/i>,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Bourne Ultimatum<\/i>, Captain Phillips<\/i>) also returns for this much-anticipated chapter, and Frank Marshall again produces alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment. Greengrass, Damon, Gregory Goodman and Ben Smith also produce. The action-thriller is written by Greengrass with Christopher Rouse. Rouse and Henry Morrison serve as executive producers. Julia\u00a0 Stiles, Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones join Damon for the action-thriller.<\/p>\n
