At Tenerife Film Commission<\/strong> we like telling you first-hand about all the reasons and advantages that make Tenerife an increasingly attractive place for animation and live action international projects. That\u2019s why along with local production companies, we\u2019re travelling to the most relevant events of the first quarter of the year: European Film Market (Berlinale), Kidscreen Summit, Cartoon Movie and Series Mania<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re taking part in Kidscreen Summit, from 11 to 14 February in Miami (US), under the Animation from Spain <\/em>umbrella. Four production companies are coming with us: 3 Doubles Producciones<\/strong><\/a>, B-Water Studios, Mondo TV Iberoam\u00e9rica<\/strong><\/a> and Salero Animation Studio. We\u2019re also attending Cartoon Movie in Burdeaux (France), from 5 to 7 March.<\/p>\n

As for feature films and series, we can meet at the European Film Market and Drama Series Days (Berlin), from 9 to 12 February at the Cinema from Spain stand (MGB, C1). Orange Valley Canarias<\/strong><\/a>, Kikazaru 360<\/strong><\/a> and Nu Boyana Canarias are joining us in the market. And finally, we\u2019ll be at Series Mania (Lille, France), taking place from 25 to 27 March.<\/p>\n

In Tenerife, production companies can enjoy 40% tax rebate for foreign production<\/strong> or a 45-40 % tax credit for Spanish productions or co-productions<\/strong>. In addition, you can establish your company in the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) and pay just 4% Corporate Income Tax, as opposed to 25% applicable in the rest of the country.<\/p>\n

Apart from these advantages, production companies will also find valuable local talent, a large number of specialised production companies<\/strong><\/a> and technological tools<\/strong> like the Teide HPC supercomputer, the second most powerful in Spain, which makes rendering so much easier. But that\u2019s not all!
