At Tenerife Film Commission (TFC) we\u2019d like to tell you first-hand all the news and advantages that make Tenerife an increasingly attractive place to shoot international series and feature films. That\u2019s why we\u2019re travelling with local production companies to the most relevant events in the first quarter of the year: Kidscreen Summit<\/strong> and European Film Market <\/strong>(Berlinale).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ll start at MiradasDoc Market<\/a><\/strong>, in Gu\u00eda de Isora, Tenerife on 6 and 7 February, an international market for documentaries focusing on the South of the globe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ll be in Miami (US) at Kidscreen Summit, (from 10 to 13 February), under the Animation from Spain umbrella. Production companies Drakhar Studios<\/a>, In Efecto, Mondo TV Iberoam\u00e9rica<\/a> and Tomavisi\u00f3n <\/a>are joining us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, from 22 to 25 February, we can meet up at the European Film Market<\/strong> and at the Berlinale Series Market<\/strong> where we\u2019re travelling with production companies La Cr\u00e8me Films<\/a>, Seven Islands Film<\/a>, Macaronesia Films<\/a> and Sur Film<\/a>. We\u2019ll be there with Canary Islands Film (the promotional Canarian film umbrella) in the Cinema from Spain stand (MGB C1). We\u2019d like to highlight that on 23 February <\/strong>in the morning we\u2019re taking part in the Canary Islands Film\u2019s event to talk about sustainable film shooting<\/strong>. If you\u2019d like to come, do ask for an invite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re also attending the Cartoon Movie<\/strong> in Bordeaux (France), from 3 to 5 March and will be represented at Series Mania<\/strong>, (Lille, France) from 25 to 27 March through Canary Islands Film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Tenerife, production companies can benefit from 40% deduction for foreign productions or 45-40 % tax credit for Spanish productions or co-productions<\/strong>. In addition, companies can be established at the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) and pay 4% on Corporate Income Tax as opposed to 25% paid in the rest of the country.  The island also offers valuable local talent plus experienced production companies<\/strong> and rental equipment companies.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
