From pop, rock and urban sounds to electronic and folk music, the biggest and most diverse of the Canary Islands is the place to be, and dance, this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of Tenerife\u2019s best summer festivals taking place this summer are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rhythms of the World <\/strong><strong>(14, 15 July)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cRhythms of the World\u201d (<em>Ritmos del Mundo<\/em>) festival will take place on the third weekend of July on Golf Costa Adeje (south), in a more family-friendly setting than in previous editions. The best urban sounds will accompany a variety of activities, music and entertainment suitable for all ages. J Balvin, Morad, Conjurer, La Diabla, Duki, Lunay and Saiko are some of the artists who will be performing at this year\u2019s edition. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/farra.world\/ritmos-del-mundo\/\">https:\/\/farra.world\/ritmos-del-mundo\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cook Music Fest 2023 <\/strong><strong>(20-22 July)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This music and gastronomy festival, which takes place in the northern town of Puerto de La Cruz, is committed to the spreading of culture and leisure. In addition, this year\u2019s edition will see a new leisure and sustainable arts and crafts fair with local artisans from the Canary Islands and international craftspeople who live on the islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The well-known \u201cPoet of Salsa\u201d, Rub\u00e9n Blades, will delight audiences with his lyrics; while Olga Ta\u00f1\u00f3n, known as \u201cThe Woman of Fire\u201d, will visit the island for the second time for the festival. Other artists such as hip-hop singer, El Taiger; Argentinian artist, Mar\u00eda Becerra; and Spanish artists Ana Mena and Omar Montes, will also take part in this year\u2019s edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cookmusicfest.es\/\">https:\/\/cookmusicfest.es\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eurorainbow <\/strong><strong>(28-30 July)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the success of its first edition last year, Eurorainbow festival, the only European festival that celebrates the diversity and visibility of the Eurovision Song Contest, will turn Santa Cruz, Tenerife\u2019s island capital, into a hub for <em>Eurofans <\/em>and champions of equality. Some of the artists performing will be Spanish singer, Vanesa Mart\u00edn; rapper Ptazeta; and Israeli singer and songwriter, Dana International.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurorainbow.org\/\">https:\/\/www.eurorainbow.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women World Fest <\/strong><strong>(10-26 August)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWomen World Fest\u201d (Mujeres World Fest) is the first festival in Spain \u2013 and one of the only few ones in the world \u2013 that gives prominence to women in all aspects. For the second year in a row, Women World Fest will take place in the popular southern area of Costa Adeje and the line-up includes renowned artists such as Luz Casal, India Mart\u00ednez, Lila Downs, Pastora Soler, Valeria Castro, Vicco and Ainhoa Aguilar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mujeresworldfest.com\/\">https:\/\/www.mujeresworldfest.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sunblast <\/strong><strong>(12 August)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 12<sup>th<\/sup> of August more than 15,000 people will gather in Costa Adeje to experience one of the Canary Islands\u2019 biggest music events. Over thirty Canarian and international artists will participate in this year\u2019s edition, including world references of electronic music such as Anuel, Nightmares on Wax, Sven Vath, Juicy M and La Diabla. The festival will have five different stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/farra.world\/entradas\/tickets-sunblast\/\">https:\/\/farra.world\/entradas\/tickets-sunblast\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phe Festival (18, 19 August)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This independent festival, which celebrates its eighth edition this year, has added different types of music, cultural trends, arts, gastronomy and innovation throughout its previous editions. This year, the festival, which is held in Puerto de La Cruz, has a line-upthat includes internationally renowned artists such as Orbital \u2013 the British duo who are pioneers of electronic dance music; and Trueno \u2013 the Argentinean phenomenon of the urban genre. In addition, the festival will also feature British band, The Reytons and other outstanding national artists such as Natalia Lacunza, Shinova, Arde Bogot\u00e1 and Second, as well as other independent artists such as Sexy Zebras and Jimena Amarillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/phefestival.es\/en\/\">https:\/\/phefestival.es\/en\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pe\u00f1\u00f3n Rock <\/strong><strong>(5-14 October)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Summer in Tenerife also includes October \u2013 the month where Pe\u00f1\u00f3n Rock will take place. Born six years ago, this festival is entirely dedicated to rock music and fans. This year\u2019s edition offers a new line-up and new musical styles with the aim of reaching new audiences. Taking place in Puerto de la Cruz, some of the artists performing at the Pe\u00f1\u00f3n Rock include M\u00f3nica Naranjo, M\u00e4go de Oz, La Guardia, Technotronic, Loco M\u00eda, Sidecars and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.penonrock.es\/en-gb\">https:\/\/www.penonrock.es\/en-gb<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Festivals in Tenerife combine music, gastronomy, culture, sustainability and sports \u2013 but they are also an invitation to further explore the island.
