36th FIMC: Russian Chamber Orchestra of St Petersburg

The Russian Chamber Orchestra of St Petersburg will be performing in Tenerife in the context of the 36^th International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC). Established by renowned musicians from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg Conservatory 30 years ago, the Russian Chamber Orchestra of St Petersburg is one of the most popular chamber ensembles in Europe.

Under the baton of Russian conductor Juri Gilbo, it will offer a special première of the work of local composer Manuel Bonino. The programme will also include works by Stravinsky and Schubert.
