39th FIMC: Scottish Chamber Orchestra

The 39^th International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC) includes a concert by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra (SCO), which will perform Light, Love and Ecstasy, concerto for guitar and orchestra, a piece by the composer born in the Canary Islands Laura Vega, commissioned by the Festival to be premiered in its 39^th edition.

The concerto for guitar and orchestra will give the audience the chance to listen to guitar virtuoso Pablo Sáinz-Villegas, one of today’s most highly acclaimed guitarists. He will be accompanied by clarinet player Maximiliano Martín, born in La Orotava, a musical artist oozing charm and passion. Maxim Emelyanychev, principal conductor of the SCO, will be at the helm.
