The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, an icon of cultural life on the island, will once again be present at the International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC). Under the baton of German conductor Michael Boder, they will perform a repertoire including works by three major composers of the twentieth century: Olivier Messiaen, Paul Hindemith and Francis Poulenc.
In performing Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra in D minor, FP 61, the orchestra will be accompanied by two young pianists: Mario Marzo (Spain) and Pallavi Mahidhara (India-USA).
