Al son de Cervantes (To the Beat of Cervantes)

The Tenerife Auditorium is staging a family concert by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra for grown-ups and children over three, featuring the orchestra’s string ensemble and harpsichord.

The show is about two comedians from the Golden Age, La Cervantona and El Cervantillo, who introduce the most famous episodes from Don Quixote, accompanied by music by Georg Philipp Telemann. With the help of the orchestra and resorting to poetry, juggling and humour, they will retell the most fascinating stories in Cervantes’s novel, evoke the world of the Spanish baroque and teach children how to listen to a good tale.
