Alejandro Fernández

The Mexican singer Alejandro Fernández is coming to Tenerife in the context of his latest tour, Amor y patria. Originally specialising in traditional forms of Mexican folk, such as mariachi or ranchera music, Fernández then branched out into Latin pop. In Amor y patria, the Mexican singer celebrates his love of music, of his homeland and the people around him while revisiting his greatest hits: “Me dediqué a perderte”, “Tantita pena”, “Como quien pierde una estrella”, and many others. In addition, he pays tribute to his father, the ranchera singer and actor Vicente Fernández, aka El Charro de Huentitán, who died in 2021.

Over the course of his career, now spanning more than three decades, Alejandro Fernández has received two Latin Grammy Awards, the Hispanic Heritage Award and many other musical accolades.
