Arrullo salvaje (Wild Lull) – Capi Cabrera

The Contemporary Art Centre of the Government of the Canary Islands (SAC) is staging an exhibition by the visual artist from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Capi Cabrera. The exhibition shows about twenty abstract paintings, Cabrera’s technique being acrylic on canvas.

In his paintings, Capi Cabrera shows the colourful landscapes of the Canary Islands – the gorges and ravines, and, above all, the sea and the tides – in shades of blue, ochre and white. Rooted in the islands, Cabrera finds inspiration in the natural world around him.
