Moscow Ballet presents Don Quixote

A ballet in three acts based on Chapter 19 of the second book of "The ingenious gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha" by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. The music was composed by Ludwig Minkus. The ballet had its world premiere on 26 December 1869 in Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre, commissioned by the Imperial Theatres of the Russian Empire.
