Carnival in La Orotava 2023

From 17 to 26 February, La Orotava will join the Carnival celebrations in an event that has become a tradition for locals and out-of-towners alike. Activities, which include a children’s festival and parade, draw lots of visitors. On the whole, the event is a big show.

There is also a Piñata Dance and a Fancy Dress Competition for Kids. Celebrations come to a close with the Big Carnival Parade, which gathers high numbers of local residents and people from the neighbouring towns as well.
