Concert for Zapata and Orchestra

The ninth concert of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra 2019/2020 season will feature tenor José Manuel Zapata in what he himself calls a ‘showcert’ – that is, a concert in a fun and festive key.

Making fun of the labels classical music is associated with, this show, staged by Paco Mir, draws inspiration from those created by Danny Kaye, where, with the help of an orchestra, he brought music and comedy together.
