Chamber Orchestra of the Canary Islands Anniversary Concert

The Chamber Orchestra of the Canary Islands (OCC) is celebrating a new anniversary with a concert at the Guimerá Theatre on 12 November. The orchestra was established in August 1935, under the auspices of the Provincial Music School in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Their first performance was at the Guimerá Theatre, on 16 November 1935.

The concert’s two-part program will include works by such composers as Ernesto Mateo and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
