Concretos (Concretes)

The Tenerife Arts Space (TEA) is hosting an exhibition curated by artists Gilberto González and Pablo León de la Barra, which is part of the TEA programme focusing on architecture as the materialisation of images. In this exhibition, concrete is the element used to build connections between works, thus making the lack of discourse substance apparent. As an extremely versatile material, concrete revolutionised architecture, freeing it from stylistic canons, while giving access to self-construction processes to new sectors of the population.

The exhibition features works by artists who, using concrete, emphasise a series of social collapse and capital strengthening processes leading to the rise of neo-feudalism.
