Coso Apoteosis (Big Carnival Parade) – Carnival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2023

Tuesday 21 is one of the most important days on the Carnival calendar in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is the day of the Big Carnival Parade – “Coso Apoteosis del Carnaval” –, when Carnival celebrations reach their climax.

Going down Francisco la Roche Avenue, the colourful and joyous parade features krewes and music bands, floats and carriages, popular Carnival characters and, of course, the Carnival Queen and her ladies-in-waiting. At the end, there is a big fireworks show.
