Tenerife Movement Arts Festival (FAM) – Fall 2023

The Tenerife Movement Arts Festival (FAM) – a festival aimed at transforming Tenerife into one of the nerve centres of Spanish dance – is back for its fall 2023 edition, starting on 8 September and going on until late December. Thanks to FAM, the power of live dance will be felt at the Tenerife Auditorium and associated theatres, which will stage a variety of shows in which contemporary Spanish dance will be the real star.

FAM’s collaborating institutions include Danza a Escena, the dance programme of the Spanish Theatre Network, and Circuito Acieloabierto (street and unusual-space dance network), both belonging to the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM) of the Spanish Ministry of Culture. FAM has been awarded the EFFE (Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe) Label, Europe’s quality stamp for remarkable arts festivals that show their engagement in the field of the arts, community involvement and international openness.
