The town of Tacoronte dons all its finery in June to pay tribute to St Isidore the Labourer. The various events include the Country Ball (9 June) and the pilgrimage and country fair (17 June), the route of which runs from the church of St Catherine to La Alhóndiga and back, along Calle El Calvario.
