The 17th Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ 17) is paying tribute to comic book superheroes that have made it from the panels to the big screen in globally successful franchises.
Two major symphony concerts are being held at the Tenerife Auditorium in the context of the Festival on 14 and 15 July, where the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, the Tenerife Film Choir and the University of La Laguna Polyphonic Choir will explore the Marvel and DC universes.
In this edition, the Festival will make room for video game music too. On 9 July, for instance, there will be a concert at the University of La Laguna Hall and Theatre, Héroes del Pixel (Pixel Heroes), featuring Danish composer Jesper Kyd.
