The town of San Juan de la Rambla hosts something truly different from other towns and the event has become firmly established in recent years. Its Canary Islands’ Baroque Markets are unique in the islands, offering an entertaining trip back in time to offer visitors the chance to discover aspects of our heritage. It takes a look back at the Canaries of the 17th and 18th centuries, in the setting of the town’s historic old part. Re-enactments set in bygone days and staged in various locations in the town transport visitors back to different periods of San Juan de la Rambla’s history.

This years’ Market takes as its theme Malvasia grapes: European Heritage and will focus on the wine trade and European naturalists who visited the Canaries.
