Jazzmeia Horn

In the context of the 32^nd Canarias Jazz & Más International Festival, American jazz singer and songwriter Jazzmeia Horn is coming to Tenerife to introduce her 2019 album Love & Liberation.

In 2013, Jazzmeia won the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Two years later, in 2015, she won the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz International Vocals Competition. Horn’s repertoire includes jazz standards and covers of songs from other genres, including by artists such as Stevie Wonder. She has been compared to jazz vocalists Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan and Nancy Wilson.
