A musical adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, which tells the story of Bella, a brilliant, educated and energetic girl living in a small village with her dreamer and inventor father. The independent and discreet Bella longs for adventures and a world far beyond the confines of her French village. She wants nothing to do with her suitor, a well-known arrogant and conceited local young man who pursues her tirelessly.
