Continuing with the Escenarios del Carnaval (Carnival Settings) series begun in 2021, the General Reading Room of the Central Library at TEA is staging a new exhibition focusing on cultural venues and their role in Carnival celebrations from 1987 to 2005, when the latter moved from Plaza de España to the Trade Fair and Congress Centre.
The exhibition shows Carnival programmes and magazines (1987-2005) from the Library’s collection, and newspaper articles about Carnival, the San Cristóbal Castle and Plaza de España.
