Luz Casal – Mujeres World Fest

As part of its closing event on 26 August, the 2^nd Mujeres World Fest will offer a concert by Luz Casal. The Spanish singer sponsored the 1^st Mujeres World Fest in 2022, when she got the award designed by Canarian artist Isabel Delgado in recognition of her lifetime achievements.

Luz Casal is one of Spain’s most highly acclaimed rock singers. In her long and successful career, she has received countless awards, including the Rolling Stone Award for a Life Dedicated to Rock, the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and the medal of the French Order of Knight of Arts and Letters. Her songs – “Loca”, “Te dejé marchar”, “No me importa nada” and many others – have become real classics of Spanish rock.
