Manu Katché

As part of the Canarias Jazz & Más International Festival, the Tenerife Auditorium is hosting a concert by the French drummer of Ivorian descent Manu Katché.

Having developed an immediately identifiable drum sound and style with equal doses of power and elegance, Manu Katché has played with the planet’s greatest singers and producers, including Sting and Peter Gabriel. Accompanying Gabriel on his Back to Front tour, he left his mark on the English singer’s hit “Sledgehammer”. In his concert in Tenerife, Katché will introduce his tenth album as a leader, The ScOpe, where he digs deep into the roots of groove music, while incorporating the modern sounds of machines.
