The MerKarte art market is designed to help up and coming artists by raising the visibility of their individual projects and giving them a platform to showcase their talent to all in the Canaries. To that end, it provides a setting during the Christmas period to encourage people to buy works by young Canarian artists. All the money raised goes straight to the artists, who set their own prices for their work.
