MUECA 2022: International Street Art Festival

The Puerto de la Cruz International Street Art Festival – MUECA – is coming back in 2022 for its 20th edition. It is one of the most popular family festivals in the Canary Islands. MUECA offers magic shows, music concerts, dance and other performances, and circus acts, bringing locals and out-of-towners together to enjoy culture.

In twenty years, MUECA has proven to be a resilient festival, standing against the elements and against the Covid-19 pandemic as a haven of safe, sustainable culture. In its long history, the Festival has emerged as a reference in Spain and beyond in terms of collaborative management, thanks to the joint efforts of the local authorities and the Cómplices Mueca citizens’ platform.
