Noa – Letters to Bach
The 50-year-old singer from Tel Aviv is coming on stage with Letters to Bach, her latest musical project. It consists of 12 instrumental songs with music by Johann Sebastian Bach, to which Noa has added lyrics in English and in Hebrew. The lyrics are about a variety of contemporary topics: technology and religion, global warming and feminism, euthanasia, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and human relations in the era of social media.
Noa will be accompanied by guitarist Gil Dor, bassist Or Lubianiker and drummer Gadi Seri. Letters to Bach is a show tearing down barriers of language, religion, gender, generations and stigma, and building bridges instead of respect and joy in music, under the auspices of the universal composer that is Bach.
