Project Fausto

A play by Antonio Tabares, based on the true story of the disappearance in 1968 of the fishing boat Fausto, based in the port of Tazacorte. As it sailed from El Hierro to La Palma and carrying three fishermen and another passenger, the Fausto was inexplicably lost to sight. The story is told by four female characters – women condemned to a life of loss and grief, of loneliness and waiting, of never knowing the truth. Welcome to the lives of the Fausto women.
