The island of Tenerife has been chosen to host a new edition of Ride Like a Pro Long Distance Giro d’Italia on 19 and 20 November. Given its geography and fine weather all year round, Tenerife is the perfect place for this kind of sporting events.
The cycle touring event will unfold in two stages. The first one will be 115 kilometres long, involving a 2976-metre climb. The second will be 64 kilometres long, with a climb of 1300 metres. For the full “Ride Like a Pro” experience, participants should go for the two stages. They are quite different, and this makes the race even more challenging. The ride will take them across several municipalities, including Arona, San Miguel de Abona, Granadilla de Abona and Arico, among others.
