Portuguese singer Salvador Sobral – one of Portugal’s best-known musical artists – is coming to Tenerife in the context of the Canarias Jazz & Más International Festival. In the concert, Salvador will revisit the songs from the three albums he has released so far – Excuse me, Paris, Lisboa and BPM –, and he will give the audience a foretaste of what is coming: Timbre, the album that will be released in September.
Sobral won the Festival RTP da Canção in 2017 with the song “Amar pelos dois”, written and composed by his sister, Luísa Sobral, who is also a singer. Having won the competition in Portugal, he entered – and won – the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the same song, achieving the highest score in the history of the competition.
