SFJAZZ Collective

As part of Canarias Jazz & Más 2022, the Tenerife Auditorium is hosting New Works Reflecting the Moment, a show by the San Francisco-based leaderless group and democratic composer’s workshop SFJAZZ Collective.

Established in 2004, the SFJazz Collective honours music’s greatest figures while championing jazz’s up-to-the-minute directions. The SFJazz Collective current nine-star ensemble includes music director, saxophonist and flautist Chris Potter, trumpeter Etienne Charles, pianist Edward Simon, drummer Kendrick Scott, tenor saxophonist David Sánchez, vocalists Martin Luther McCoy and Gretchen Parlato, vibraphonist Warren Wolf, and bassist Matt Brewer.
