Spanish Painting in the 1980s: Los Bragales Collection

This exhibition shows a small selection of works from Los Bragales Collection (Santander), attached to the TEA Holdings and Collections. The selection includes works by Juan Muñoz, Menchu Lamas, Víctor Mira, Bonifacio, José Manuel Broto, Maria Girona, Manuel Rivera, Joan Brossa and Santiago Serrano.

The exhibition thus focuses on some of the greatest artists of the 1980s – a decade marked in art by creativity, the carefree use of colour, adventure, versatility and multiplicity of style, and sociologically by change and the transition to modern life.
