After hosting a WTA 250 tournament and an ATP challenger in 2021, this year, Tenerife is playing host to three men’s tennis tournaments that are part of the early-season calendar. The tournaments will be an ATP Challenger 100, from 15 to 22 January, and two ATP Challengers 75, from 29 January to 5 February and from 5 to 12 February. They will all be played on the Flexi®-Pave courts of the Abama Tennis Academy.
The ATP Challenger 100, one of the most important events for tennis fans in the Canary Islands, will gather some of the world’s top players, giving out 100 ATP points and a money prize worth USD130,000.
