Tenerife Symphony Orchestra – ‘Thus Spoke Zarathustra’

The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Antonio Méndez and featuring oboist François Leleux as soloist, will perform some of the greatest works by two of the most renowned German composers: Richard Wagner: ‘Overture’ and ‘Venusberg musik’ from Tannhäuser, and Richard Strauss: Concerto for Oboe in D major, TrV 292 and Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30, TrV 176, inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche’s philosophical novel of the same name.
