The Latonius Gospel Choir and Arona Music Band

Latonius Jermaine Earl, also known as The Latonius, is an incredibly talented singer, a master in his vulnerability and a music lover. He pursues each chord, note and sound with passion. The key: dreaming, eating, being intimate with his soul, his spirit, his innermost pulse, from which his music flows. The origins of the Arona Music Band date back to 1985, when Arona town hall first considered setting up a music academy. As a first step, the academy began to teach musical language, piano, and wind and percussion instruments. In 1987 a branch of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Music Conservatory was opened in Arona. Since then the Band has taken part in various events in and beyond the town.
