15th Our Lady of Mercy’s Boat Procession 2022

In the fishing village of El Médano, every year in September, locals wear their traditional fishermen’s clothes to escort Our Lady of Mercy to the beach, where She sets off on a stunning boat procession.

It is one of the most moving traditional processions taking place on the island of Tenerife. Visitors can also enjoy the music of local bands or parrandas, and the Canarian dishes prepared by locals.
