On 8 July, La Arena Beach is playing host to the traditional swim in which participants are expected to cover 950 metres in open water.
Organised by the Santiago del Teide Sports Department, La Arena Beach Open Water Swim has its start line on La Arena Beach, finishing in Puerto de Santiago. The race is open to both professional and amateur swimmers (up to 300).
