Bolle's pigeon

The other endemic species of pigeon that inhabits the Canarian laurel forests together with the laurel pigeon is the Bolle's pigeon (Columba bollii), which can be found in Tenerife, La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma. In Tenerife you may see Bolle's pigeons in Anaga Country Park and in the municipalities of La Victoria, Los Silos and Santa Úrsula, where they feed on berries from the laurel bushes, viñatigos and fayas.
